What’s a celebration without some dancing? Create a dedicated dance floor space where you and your guests can let loose and have a blast! This interactive activity will get everyone involved and add an element of fun and energy to your Mehndi ceremony. Dance the night away and make memories that will last a lifetime.

3. Food:

Treat your guests to a feast of flavors! Curate a menu filled with traditional delicacies, sweet treats, and mouthwatering dishes that will tantalize their taste buds. Set up different food stations where guests can savor a variety of dishes. To add an extra touch of elegance, have a chef cook food to order, providing an interactive culinary experience. Remember, good food is the heart of any celebration, so ensure your guests leave with satisfied appetites and happy memories.

4. Nail Bar:

Pamper your guests with a stylish nail bar experience. Hire a professional nail technician who can create beautiful nail designs for your guests. From intricate Mehndi-inspired patterns to trendy and glamorous designs, your guests will leave with wedding-ready looks. This unique addition will not only make your guests feel special but also provide them with a chance to relax and indulge in a little self-care.

5. Photo Booth:

5 Reasons to have a Marquee Wedding: Anu & Chris Marquee Wedding @ Leeds Castle, Kent

Are you considering a marquee wedding but feeling unsure? Look no further! In this blog, we will explore five compelling reasons why having a marquee wedding might be the perfect choice for your special day. Drawing inspiration from the enchanting wedding of Anu and Chris, we will delve into the unique benefits that a marquee wedding can offer. So, let’s dive in and discover why this type of celebration could be an ideal fit for you.

  • Flexibility in Guest Numbers:
One of the significant advantages of a marquee wedding is the ability to choose any size marquee to accommodate your guest list. Unlike traditional wedding venues, you won’t have to worry about cutting down your invitees. Marquee companies cater to various event sizes, ensuring that you can create a space that perfectly suits your guest numbers. Anu and Chris were thrilled to be able to invite all their loved ones without any compromises.

  • Bespoke Design:
With a marquee wedding, you have the freedom to create a truly unique and personalized experience. You can handpick the shape, style, and color of the marquee to align with your wedding vibe. Whether you envision a clear roof to gaze at the starry sky, white silk drapes for an elegant touch, or a ceiling adorned with romantic lights, the design options are limitless. Anu and Chris opted for a marquee with a clear roof, creating a magical atmosphere that enchanted their guests.

  • A Blank Canvas:
Unlike wedding venues that come with their own interior decor, a marquee provides you with a blank canvas to work with. You have complete control over every aspect of the interior design. Choose your preferred background color, layout the space to your liking, and design the entire ambiance according to your vision. Anu and Chris took advantage of this freedom by incorporating their favorite colors, elegant floral arrangements, and personalized decorations.
  • Flexibility and Freedom:
Selecting a marquee for your wedding grants you unparalleled flexibility and freedom. Not only do you have more control over the guest list, but you also have the liberty to determine the ending time of your event. Additionally, you can handpick your preferred wedding suppliers, ensuring that every aspect of your special day aligns with your vision. Anu and Chris cherished the flexibility to extend their celebration into the late hours, creating unforgettable memories with their loved ones.

Conclusion:

The marquee wedding of Anu and Chris beautifully exemplifies the numerous benefits that this style of celebration offers. The ability to accommodate any guest list, the freedom to design a bespoke atmosphere, and the flexibility to curate an unforgettable experience are just a few reasons to consider a marquee wedding. Help… What flowers should I pick for my wedding?

Hello Brides To Be,

So it’s Chelsea Flower Show 2017, so what a perfect time to see the beautiful flowers the world has to offer for your big day. Held in the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea in Chelsea, London since 1912. It is known as one of the most famous landscape and flower garden shows in the UK and also in the world, attracting the public and famous celebrities from near and far.

Many brides have the dilemma of which flowers to pick for their big day and many are attracted towards traditional roses in either white or red.  Now many people are starting to look at what else is out there as they want their weddings to be different, unique or just that one wedding that stands out.

Making the nervous step’s towards something different can be abit scary, especially as people don’t tend to see the mix of different colours at an Indian Wedding, but many more people are breaking the mould.

Below we have collected some beautiful inspiration for you of how different flowers, colours and textures can work for your big day. We’ve also added in a handy flower chart by season to help.

METALLICS TONES – TRENDS FOR AUTUMN WEDDING STATIONERY

So we caught up with Lianne Taylor -the Creative Director & Founder of Loveli Stationery. Who’s beautiful company was the Regional Winner of the 2016 Wedding Industry Awards and is the Regional Finalist for 2017!

We spoke all things Autumn Stationery trends…. Lianne gives us her top 3 trends, heres trend 1….

As we move into Autumn and Winter for the Wedding season there is a definite shift in colour palettes and style. The colder months seem to make Brides bolder with their colour choices and this creates wonderful palettes to work with for stationary, both for invitations and on the day items.

The top three colour trends I have seen coming through from Autumn/Winter wedding enquiries are: metallics, jewel tones and iced pastels.

TREND 1- METALLICS

This trend has been building throughout the year and looks set to continue well into 2017. There’s something quite special and opulent about a foiled finish on an invitation. Brides are leaning towards rose gold tones with luxe dark card paper stock, such as midnight blue, to really allow the metallic elements to shine through.

With oodles of glitz from metallics and contemporary styling for fonts and finishes, I can’t wait to see what fresh trends 2017 brings.

JEWEL TONES- TRENDS FOR AUTUMN WEDDING STATIONERY

JEWEL TONES- TRENDS FOR AUTUMN WEDDING STATIONERY

Warming jewel tones are perfect for an Autumn/Winter big day as they create a lovely atmosphere and feel to the whole affair. Some couples are going all out with a palette of mixed jewels including, ruby reds, amethyst tones and rich ambers, whilst others are choosing more subtle highlights in their stationery and saving the big impact for floral elements and bridesmaid dresses

ICED PASTELS- TRENDS FOR AUTUMN WEDDING STATIONERY

So we caught up with Lianne Taylor -the Creative Director & Founder of Loveli Stationery. Who’s beautiful company was the Regional Winner of the 2016 Wedding Industry Awards and is the Regional Finalist for 2017!

ICED PASTELS- TRENDS FOR AUTUMN WEDDING STATIONERY

Following the Pantone Colour of the Year choices (serenity and rose quartz) for 2016, paired back versions are coming to the forefront for Weddings later in the year. Pretty iced toned pastels are big for Winter Weddings. Frosty blues printed on beautiful pearlescent card stocks and blush pinks are a big hit with those saying I do throughout November and December.

Brides are also getting more creative with how their invitations are structured in their quest of the perfect invite. I am seeing a lot more requests for folded invitations that keep information all together in one place, rather than lots of separate cards (my personal favourite). Also on the rise are destination weddings, meaning that requests for invitation packages to accommodate a plethora of extra information are also on the rise. A booklet format seems to be the favoured choice for Autumn/Winter, along with some opting to place extra information on Wedding websites for the their guests to access.  Hand finished items are also big for Winter; metallic ribbons and extra touches for the added wow-factor.
