Dear Brides To Be,

So we have the green light (well sort of), Boris Johnson announced in the houses of parliament that wedding ceremonies in gurdwaras, temples, churches and any other places of worship can take place “Socially Distanced” of course with a limited number of 30 guests, from the beginning of July. So now that the rules have been “slightly” loosened, what does this mean for Asian weddings, can we have intimate weddings? What does intimate wedding mean for the Asians weddings in the Uk I hear you say? 

On the 19th March it was announced that wedding ceremonies would be restricted to five people, however when lockdown commenced on the 23rd of march the rules completely changed and all weddings were banned and were not allowed at all due to the covid-19 outbreak. 

We are yet to know if a reception can take place and if it did take place would you even be able to dance, or even eat and have the same enjoyment as we would have done a few months ago?  What does an intimate wedding mean? 

How do you feel? Would you consider now having a smaller intimate wedding?
